T-Mobile HTC One M9 users may soon start receiving the latest Android Nougat OS update as the carrier has completed the required tests for the update. The next step to follow is the obvious release of the software version of Android 7.0 Nougat to the T-Mobile One M9 handsets.

HTC has already launched the Nougat update to the unlocked version of One M9 in the US way back in December last year. The company followed this with the Android 7.0 Nougat release in Europe just a few days back.

The update for One M9 is releasing with software version 4.14.401.7 in Europe while in the US it is 4.14.617.6.

The Android update brings in the latest Google security patches and system enhancements.
