T-Mobile HTC One LTE receives an OTA update to version 7.18.531.35, fixes Stagefright

The T-Mobile HTC One M7 LTE edition is all set for an update, quite predictably fixing the Stagefright bug on the device. The new software version after the update will be 7.18.531.35.

And that’s all about the changelog. There is nothing else we could expect, and there is nothing else T-Mobile has told us to expect at their software update page. All T-Mobile says is ‘Messaging security improvements’.

This is the third Android device receiving the Stagefright bug fixer update today, after Sprint LG G4 and Sprint HTC One Max.

The T-Mobile One M7 LTE is almost on the brink of getting forgotten now as regards software updates, and it could easily be its last update.

If you own the HTC One LTE at T-Mobile, then you should be received the 7.18.531.35 update any time now, though it could take a few days or more under orderly rollout manner the companies follow.
