A new software update is currently rolling out for the T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy Note 8. The update is available over-the-air and includes security and system improvements.
If you’re on T-Mobile and own the Galaxy Note 8, then you should either have already received this update, or you will get the notification in the next few days. The build number is N950USQU2BQLA and it is still Android 7.0 Nougat.

After installing the update you will see improvements in Video conferencing and the entire system in general. There is also a Digits update included here, and the December Android security patch would be installed. Apart from that, there aren’t any other changes.
The Galaxy Note 8 still hasn’t received the Android 8.0 Oreo update, officially at least. If you do want to try out Oreo on the Note 8, a leaked version has been available for some time now. This version is for the carrier locked variants only, which means you can install it on the T-Mobile Note 8.
