T-Mobile is now rolling out a new software update to the Galaxy Note 4 and Note Edge which installs the July security patch on both the handsets.
The update is arriving with the build N910TUVS2EQG1 (or N910T3UVS3EQG1) and N915TUVS2DQG1 for the Galaxy Note 4 and the Note Edge respectively.
In terms of size, the update weighs around 25MB for both the devices. So, you can install it either over a stable Wi-Fi network or over the cellular data without worrying about additional data charges.

As mentioned earlier, the update installs the July security patch on both the Galaxy Note 4 and Note Edge which should get rid of security vulnerabilities (if any) alongside fixing the existing bugs in the previous build.
The July security patch is currently being rolled out to users over-the-air (OTA) which means you should receive the update notification any time now. If you haven’t already, click on Settings > About device > Software update to check for it manually.
Also, make sure you have enough charging left, at least 50% on your handset before hitting the install button.
