Alcatel brought its budget tablet A30 to the T-Mobile network in May. Priced at $144, the Alcatel A30 LTE is an affordable mid-range tablet which is now being offered for free by the Magenta carrier.
The US carrier is giving away the 8-inch Alcatel A30 LTE tablet for users who sign up for a qualifying rate plan. However, T-Mobile mentions that if you cancel the wireless service before the end of the 24-month finance agreement, remaining device balance becomes due. The offer is valid for existing as well as new customers and once your account is verified, you will start receiving your monthly bill credit, which should be typically by your second bill cycle.
Alcatel A30 features an 8-inch 1280 x 800 display, quad-core Snapdragon 210 processor, 2GB of RAM and 16GB in-built memory. A 4000mAh battery keeps the device ticking and it is shipped with Android 7.1 Nougat.
