This week, reports emerged from China that Xiaomi had started rolling out the stable update of MIUI 10 for Mi 6 owners. More evidence of stable MIUI 10 also appeared on the Wi-Fi Alliance with respect to Xiaomi Mi 8 and Poco F1 certifications and yesterday, the update also appeared on the Redmi Note 5.

Now, it seems the company is on a roll as more devices are now receiving the stable MIUI 10 update, but still, this is limited to the Chinese ROM of the custom skin. The newbies are Xiaomi Mi 8 SE, Mi Note 3 and the flagship Mi MIX 2, all with Android Oreo as the base software.

When the update was officially announced for the Mi 6, Xiaomi noted that you must be using the stable China ROM in order to receive the OTA notification. But why wait for days for the OTA notification when you can grab the recovery update below and install it manually right now? Well, that’s up to you.
