Those looking for feature-rich smartphone with specs that include 4G LTE connectivity, a 12MP camera, and HD display may not have to look further than the Sprint ZTE Flash. The ZTE Flash, images of which were seen leaked recently, has still not been made official by Sprint.
However, US retailers Wirefly and Best Buy don’t seem to be in the mood to wait for the official word from Sprint, and have listed the ZTE Flash on their websites. On-contract pricing for the Sprint ZTE Flash has been listed at $99 with Wirefly and $149 with Best Buy. Wirefly is also listing a contract-free pricing of $479, which is pretty decent given the high-end specs of the device. Although the device is not available to order just as yet, with Wirefly indicating a “Will ship when available” status and Best Buy showing it as Sold Out, it shouldn’t be too soon before it opens up.
Official Specs listed as as follows:
- 4.5″ IPS-LCD 1280 x 720 display
- 1.5 GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 Processor
- 1 GB RAM
- 8 GB Internal Storage / Expandable microSD slot
- 4G LTE
- 12.6 MP Camera
- Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich
While the specs for the Sprint ZTE Flash look pretty impressive for the price, it would be interesting to see how it holds up as far as sales are concerned, against other recently released devices by Sprint – the Galaxy Note 2 and LG Optimus G to name a few.
