Sprint HTC One Max scores an update to software version 3.03.651.3, fixes Stagefright bug, what else!

The ol’ HTC One Max at Sprint is getting a Stagefright fix as an OTA update today, the software version being 3.03.651.3.

It hasn’t been long since Sprint HTC One Max received its last update (v 3.02.651.8) that increased the fingerprint security on the device. But today’s update is pretty crucial as it fixes a must-fix severe vulnerability on the One Max.

Earlier we also reported that Sprint LG G4 Stagefright fixer update is also on the rollout and it seems that G4 wasn’t the only Sprint device receiving a bug fixer update today.

The update should arrive on your Sprint HTC One Max anytime now as full rollout has begun, but in case you want it early, then tap on ‘check for update’ button under Settings > About device > Software info > System update.

Make sure you have stock recovery installed, and no apps disabled, otherwise OTA may fail when trying to install.
