Sprint Galaxy S7 Edge gets OTA update with January security patch and stability improvements [build: G935PVPU4APL6]

The Sprint Galaxy S7 Edge is receiving an OTA update with firmware build G935PVPU4APL6. The update is 495.09MB in size and is based on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow.

The update brings a handful of changes to the Sprint S7 Edge. Among the highlighting changes, January security patch and stability improvements are released. Check out the full changelog below:

  • Removed new application: Milk Music
  • The performance of LTE has been improved
  • The stability of WiFi has been improved
  • The stability of Hotspot has been improved
  • The security of your device has been improved

The update is currently on the roll as we speak. If you don’t receive the update notification automatically in the next few hours/days, be sure to check for it manually via Settings » About device » Download updates manually option.
