It seems that it’s all but certain that the Galaxy Nexus will be coming to the Sprint network on April 22nd. The latest release date leak comes from BGR, who received a screenshot from an internal Sprint system which mentions that the “Samsung Nexus will arrive in stores by April 22nd”. Also, Android and Me have got a tip from a Sprint employee who has confirmed, on the condition of anonymity, that the release date is set as April 22 in their internal system.

Already available on Verizon’s 4G network, the Galaxy Nexus is set to become the first 4G LTE capable phone to be offered by Sprint. Sprint recently released a video that gave an overview of the Nexus and its features, suggesting that the release date was very close, and now with this new leak from BGR and the confirmation from the Sprint employee, it seems there’s only a few days left before the Nexus arrives on Sprint.

So, if you’ve been anxiously waiting to upgrade to Google’s Android 4.0 flagship, it isn’t a bad idea to start saying your goodbyes to your current device, as you could be rocking a Galaxy Nexus in the next week or so. Here’s hoping the April 22nd release date doesn’t get extended.
