Coolpad is a Chinese OEM that you may not be familiar with. The company produces mid-range and budget devices and has a moderate market presence in India and China. Two devices from Coolpad have made an appearance on TENAA today. The name of these smartphones haven’t been revealed yet, but the model numbers go by GRA-A0 (also a variant, GRA-M0) and CVC-A0.

Obviously, the Coolpad GRA-A0 and Coolpad GRA-M0, carry same specs. They feature a 5-inch 720p TFT display and are both powered by a quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz. Both the smartphones come in 2GB RAM/16GB ROM and 4GB RAM/32GB ROM variants, giving customers a wide range of buying options.

Storage is expandable via microSD, but only to a maximum of 64GB for some reason. The main shooter is a 13MP sensor and the selfie camera is an 8MP sensor. Both the devices get to keep their lights on with the help of a 25oomAh battery.

Coming to the latter device, the Coolpad CVC-A0 comes with a slightly larger 5.2-inch 720p IPS display. This smartphone features a 2800mAh battery and a more powerful octa-core chipset clocked at 1.4GHz. The device will retail in 2GB, 3GB and 4GB RAM variants and storage too varies with 32/64GB of built-in memory. This can also be expanded to 128GB via microSD.

All three devices will fortunately ship with Android 7.1.1 Nougat out of the box. It’s about time that we see more devices come out with Nougat. Though we can’t place a finger on the release date yet, we can expect Coolpad to launch them sometime roughly around June or July.
