We’ve been hearing about the Sony Xperia Yuga and Odin for a long time, and we’ve also seen their specs leaked and rumored multiple times, assuring fans of Sony’s smartphones and of high-end smartphones in general that Sony is finally working on devices that will hold its own against stalwarts from other manufacturers.

XDA forum member Spectre51 has now gotten hold of info on the dimensions of both – the Yuga will apparently be water resistant and have dimensions of 138.6 x 71 x 8.1 mm and weigh 140 grams, while the Odin will come with an IR remote and dimensions of 131.6 x 69.7 x 9.8 mm and weigh 147 grams.

Considering the specs of both devices – quad-core Snapdragon S4 Pro processor, 2GB RAM, 5-inch 1080p display, a 13 or 16 megapixel camera, and a 2500 mAh battery, those are impressive dimensions for sure, though fans will no doubt be hoping that Sony makes each device water-resistant and puts in an IR remote as well, instead of forcing them to choose between the two.

Sony recently said that their 2013 flagships will easily go head to head with devices like the Galaxy S3 and iPhone 5, and I for one don’t doubt that all. Do you?
