A new device from Sony has been spotted on the GFXBench website that suggests it would ship with Android 8.0. Our best guess is the device could be Xperia XZ1 considering the specifications, which are 2.4 GHz processor, 4GB RAM, 128GB storage.

However, the device on GFXBench couldn’t necessarily be Xperia XZ1. It could be XZ1 Ultra or XZ1 Compact as well. Whichever device it is, well, they would all ship with Android 8.0 Oreo.

Android Oreo is currently available for Pixel and supported Nexus handsets. The 2017 variant of Pixel devices would be the first handsets to ship with Android Oreo preinstalled.

Android Oreo brings features such as Picture In Picture mode, snooze notifications, revamped settings and other things. You can check all Android Oreo features here.
