A few days ago we told you that Sony has stopped rolling out the Android Nougat update to its Sony Xperia XA and Xperia XA Ultra handsets owing to some technical glitches.
Well, it looks like the company has fixed those problems. We say this as the company resumed the Nougat roll out today according to a report.
Also, the update for both the smartphones is being pushed with slightly modified build numbers in comparison to the previous roll out.
If you own a Xperia XA handset, you should look for the update with the build 33.3.A.0.131 as opposed to 33.3.A.0.127 (previous version).
The Xperia XA Ultra users, on the other hand, should receive the update with the build 36.1.A.0.182 in comparison to the previous build number: 36.1.A.0.179.
In case you are wondering, Sony has already started rolling out the update over-the-air (once again) and you should receive the update notification shortly. You can always check for the update manually by heading to Settings > About phone > Software updates.
