HTC U11 was officially unveiled in May. At the time of its launch it was shown in five color options — Amazing Silver, Sapphire Blue, Brilliant Black, Ice White, and Solar Red. However, not only colors have been made available in all regions. But gradually the Taiwanese company is working towards releasing more and more color choices for users globally.

In this direction, HTC will soon make the Solar Red HTC U11 available in Australia. So far, the flagship smartphone has been available in two colors in the country viz Black and Silver.

The HTC U11 Solar Red color has been launched in the US and UK. In UK, the Solar Red variant is priced at £649.

Powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835, the HTC U11 runs Android 7.1.1 Nougat out-of-the-box. The highlight of the phone is the Edge Sense feature which allows you to squeeze on the edges of the phone to invoke different functionalities.

The phone is equipped with a 5.5-inch LCD 5 QHD display with a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 5. It comes with either 4GB or 6GB of RAM and offers a minimum of 64GB onboard storage. You can also expand the storage further up to 256GB using a microSD.

The imaging department is taken care of by a 12MP rear camera and a 16MP selfie snapper. A 3,000mAh battery keeps the lights on. It also comes with IP67 certification which makes it resistant to dust and water.
