Sharp to launch full screen Android phones in China soon

Sharp

Let’s get this straight out of the way, a bezel-less display is all the rage right now as far as smartphones go. And currently, there are only a few companies that offer handsets with such massive displays and minimal bezels. Besides, you’ll have to unload a huge amount of money from your pocket to get your hands on such smartphones.

Well, it seems like that won’t be the case anymore. At least, that’s what we would like to believe as Sharp Corporation, the Japanese electronic products manufacturer has today announced that it would soon debut full-screen mobile phones during a press conference.

The announcement comes in relevance to the Chinese smartphone market, and the company has also struck a deal with China Mobile, JD.com and D.Phone to sell its handsets in these outlets.

Further, JD.com will become the Sharp’s sole online retailer for selling its smartphones in China in the next three years. There are no other details regarding the smartphones Sharp intends to sell in China.

But, we believe that these handsets would be decent alternatives to the LG G6, Galaxy S8/ S8 Plus, and the Xiaomi Mi Mix especially if you don’t want to burn a huge hole in your pocket.
