Sharp, the Japanese OEM that wowed us a few years back with their Aquos Crystal bezel-less device, is back with another smartphone. Dubbed as Sharp S1, the latest from Sharp has just been found out at GFXbench.
Based on the listing, the Sharp S1 could feature decent enough set of specifications, featuring the Snapdragon 430 or 435 processor inside, along with 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage and a 5-inch 1080p display. On the camera side of things, the main shooter is 13MP in the back while the front gets 8MP sensor.
Though the smartphone comes with just passable specifications, what’s interesting is that the device ships with Android 7.0 Nougat on board. This might as well be one of the first budget devices to ship with Nougat.
CES may bring us more cool new tech, maybe an update on the Aquos Crystal or more. So keep an eye out for anything new as this week will have loads of new tech coming out.
