Even though we’re talking Nougat updates left and right these days, there are bunch of Android users who are still waiting — patiently, we must say — for the Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow update to arrive as an OTA for their device.
The Japanese OEM, Sharp, is yet to provide Marshmallow update to some of ts devices, all of which belong to AQUOS branding. We’re talking about AQUOS Zeta, AQUOS Mini, AQUOS Serir, AQUOS Serie Mini and AQUOS Compact.
The good news though, is the Android 6.0.1 build for these AQUOS sets just showed up at WiFi Alliance, which earlier in the day brought us ample hint of Galaxy S6 Nougat update in preparation for Verizon and Sprint Galaxy S6.
Check out the image at the top, which tells you that Android 6.0 build has been successfully certified for Sharp AQUOS Serie Mini, while the image below gets you the all the devices listed thereat, with Marshmallow approved.
