Samsung has a flurry of stock apps that can be good or bad depending on how you look at things. One such app is Good Lock, an app that can be handy for customization junkies who loathe having to install third-party apps or root their devices just so as to get the most out of Android.

The Good Lock app comes with modules that let you customize certain aspects of the UI such as the lock screen, notification panel, clock face and more. Now, Samsung has a new update to this app that adds even more features to the available modules as well as fixes to existing bugs.

As per the changelog, LockStar has fixes for issues where the status bar overlaps with the front camera, the app is closed when it can’t get the system wallpaper, the display of the clock and notifications icons expand during the quick panel, and so on.

As for QuickStar, the update adds connected Bluetooth icon invisible feature, fixes invisible NFC icon bug, improves app UI, and more. You can check out the screenshot below for the full changelog of Good Lock version 1.0.00.48.

Another stock app that is also getting a facelift is the Clock app. The latest version adds what Samsung calls Celebrity Alarm option that lets users set the sound of their favorite celebrity’s voice as the alarm tone.
