Samsung has released the Android Nougat source code for the Galaxy S6 and the Galaxy S6 Edge. The code is available for download from the Samsung open-source website.
The Nougat update for the Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge has already started to roll out in Europe. And now that the source code has been released to the public, it can only mean that the Nougat update should be available soon in several other regions across the world.

The release of the Nougat source code will also open the gates to new Custom ROMs from developers. Users who prefer custom ROMs with added features, can start looking out for new releases in the XDA forums.
