  • Samsung will launch a cheaper Galaxy Z Flip FE and premium Galaxy Z Fold 7 SE in 2025.
  • The Z Flip FE will use the same display as Z Flip 7 but with lower-end cameras and processor.
  • Samsung plans to release up to five foldable phones in 2025, including a tri-fold device.

Samsung will expand its foldable phone lineup in 2025 with new models at different price points. The company reportedly introduce the Galaxy Z Flip FE as a more affordable option for buyers.

The Z Flip FE will come with the same display as the main Z Flip 7 model but will cut costs by using a basic processor and simpler cameras. The price could drop to around $700.

Samsung will also launch a high-end Galaxy Z Fold 7 SE alongside the regular Z Fold 7. The SE model will be thinner and pack a larger inner screen, following the path of the current Z Fold SE.

The company’s 2025 foldable range may include five phones – the Z Flip 7, Z Fold 7, Z Flip FE, Z Fold 7 SE, and a new tri-fold phone that bends at two points.

Samsung has held off on making a cheaper Z Fold but sees an opportunity to reach more customers with an affordable Z Flip model. The strategy aims to appeal to different customer segments.

The Z Fold 7 SE will cost more than the standard version while keeping the slim design and enhanced display features of the existing Z Fold SE. Samsung hopes these varied options will help maintain its lead in foldable phones.
