As we all know, Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is currently under development, with the release set for late August. Hence, every other day a news pops up about the upcoming Galaxy Note 8.

Yesterday, we reported that Galaxy Note 8 will not feature the on-screen fingerprint sensor due to technical issues. Today, news has popped up regarding the Note 8 digitizer.

Up to the Samsung Galaxy Note 7, the Interflex provided digitizers for Note devices. However, that is about to change. Apparently, Interflex is now providing digitizers for the upcoming Apple iPhone 8 and thus is low on supplies for Note 8, since both the devices are set to release around the same time in the coming months.

But that doesn’t change much for Samsung, since they are now partnering with SI Flex, a domestic flexible printed circuit board (FPCB) company for the Note 8 digitizers.

In case you are wondering, digitizers in Note 8 mainly help in the functioning of S-pen, which is the emblem of Samsung Galaxy Note series.
