Google, I love you! That is something a lot of people will say after reading this, as instead of making people wait for today’s cancelled Android event to be rescheduled, Andy Rubin of Google has gone ahead and announced the Samsung Nexus 10 (as well as the LG Nexus 4 and the 32GB and 3G-enabled Nexus 7) on the official Google blog.

As rumored and eagerly anticipated, the Nexus 10 will sport a 10.1-inch display (supposedly Super AMOLED) with a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels, for an awesome pixel density of 300ppi, higher than any other tablet on the market. It will run Android 4.2 and will feature the ability to add multiple users, another feature that was rumored to be debuting with the Nexus 10. The battery life (capacity unmentioned) will be good for up to nine hours of video playback and more than 500 hours of standby time.

Other specs of the Nexus 10 weren’t mentioned, but we can expect all other rumored specs to be true as well, including a 2.0GHz Exynos 5250 processor with Mali-T604 graphics, 2GB RAM, 5 MP rear camera with LED flash, front facing camera, stereo speakers, and Wi-Fi, NFC, and Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity. However, many will be disappointed to hear the the Nexus 10 won’t come with 3G/4G connectivity, at least initially.

The Nexus 10 will be launched on November 13th on the Google Play Store in U.S., U.K., Australia, France, Germany, Spain, Canada and Japan, with the 16GB variant priced at $399 and the 32GB variant priced at $499.

What do you guys think? Is the Nexus 10 a tablet worthy of your hard-earned money?
