Samsung launches Galaxy J5 Prime in Brazil

Until today, Galaxy J5 Metal was the bestselling smartphone in the Brazilian market. However, that is about to change, as Samsung has launched the Galaxy J5 Prime in Brazil, which will replace the popular Galaxy J5 Metal.

Galaxy J5 Prime features a metal design with a 5-inch screen with Gorilla Glass 4 on top. Under the hood, the device features 1.4 GHz quad-core Exynos 7570 processor, 2 GB RAM, and 32GB internal memory.

In the camera area, the smartphone features 13MP (F1.9) rear and 5MP front camera. Both the cameras come with flash for better photographs in low lighting conditions.

Interestingly, the smartphone also features a front digital fingerprint reader, which is incorporated in the physical home button.

About the price, Samsung will sell the device at BRL 999 ($304). Further, the device is available in black, gold and pink colors. It will support dual SIM.
