Update [April 26]: Android 9 Pie update for the Galaxy Tab S4 has arrived in the U.S. The rollout is ongoing for the Wi-Fi only variant as well as carrier models on Verizon Wireless and AT&T.

Besides installing Pie, the updates also install March 2019 security patches. The Verizon variant is receiving software update version T837VVRU1BSC3 while AT&T is on version T837AUCU1BSC8. The original post follows.

Samsung has been rolling out the Android 9 Pie update to several of its devices over the past few months. Now it’s time for Galaxy Tab S4 owners to rejoice since the South Korean giant has begun seeding the OTA update carrying Android 9 Pie for the Tab S4.

The new update brings along all the cool features of Android Pie as well as Samsung’s One UI which is easily one of the best OEM skins over Android at the moment.

This new update comes with the software version T835XXU2BSD1 (BSD1 in short) and is already available for Tab S4 users to download in France at the moment; however, we do expect the update to roll out in other European countries as well as in Asian regions.

Tab S4 users in France should be receiving the update notification on their device although if you still haven’t received the update notification, then you could check for the update manually by following these steps.

⇒  Go to Settings > Software update > Download and install.

Wait for the device to scan for any new updates and if the update is available simply tap on Download and then tap on Install. In case the update still isn’t available after manually scanning, do not fret since updates are usually rolled out in batches hence you might have to wait a day or two.
