It’s fair to say that software updates for Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 aren’t regular anymore. But if you have one, you may be wondering about its eligibility for Android 10 update. Well, let’s discuss the software updates for the tablet here.
Latest news
Update [September 19, 2019]: After a long wait, the Android Pie update is now available for the Verizon Tab S3. Coming in as software version T827VVRU3CSH4, the OTA update is rolling out as an OTA starting today. Besides Pie, the CSH4 update also gets you September 2019 security patch, but what’s so surprising here is that Verizon didn’t mention Android 9 Pie as part of the changelog which limits itself to latest security patches. Given Android Pie was released as build CSH3 for the Global variant, we believe build CSH4 for the Verizon tablet is definitely its Android Pie OS upgrade. We guess Verizon would be updating the changelog soon. Also, the build of the update, PPR1.180610.011, also refers to Android 9 Pie code.
May 29, 2019: Samsung will soon begin rolling out Android 9 Pie update to the Galaxy Tab S3. The slate has been cleared by the Wi-Fi Alliance to receive Pie, which could arrive by the end of June 2019.
April 20, 2019: Samsung is rolling out a new Tab S3 update as software version T825XXU3BSD1. The update installs a new patch for April 2019 and is available for the LTE variant of the slate. The OS is still based on Android Oreo, although the Tab S3 is expected to get an update to Android Pie pretty soon.

Galaxy Tab S3 Android 10 update
Launched with Android 7.0, the Tab S3 has received its share of two Android OS updates in Oreo and Pie. Which is why the Android 10 update, that will come as One UI 2.0, won’t come out for Tab S3.
The Tab S3 remains ineligible for Android 10 update.
