Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 specs to include Snapdragon 820 processor and Android 7.0 OS

Samsung’s next flagship tablet is gearing up to hit the shelves soon. We’re talking about the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 here, which has now been spotted at GFXbench.

The Galaxy Tab S3 is most probably slated for a February release but there isn’t any official information regarding that yet. We could expect Samsung to show it off by MWC in Barcelona next month.

The previous Galaxy Tab S2 gained traction with the crisp displays and high end specs with Samsung releasing the device to compete with Apple’s iPad Air. With that said, the successor to the Tab S2 almost follows suite in the spec department.

Based on the benchmark, the Galaxy Tab S3 may retain the same sharp 9.7-inch 1536 x 2048 pixels toting super AMOLED display which is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 820 present on board.

The 4GB of RAM featured on the Tab S3 is an upgrade over the 3GB from its predecessor. On the camera side of things, the front camera may come with a 5MP shooter which is bump over the 2.1MP on the Tab S2. The rear camera could also be a 13MP shooter. The tablet is expected to ship with Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box.

From the specifications, we can note that there is good deal of improvements over the previous generation. The Galaxy Tab S3 may serve as a cool upgrade to loyal Samsung fans out there.
