Samsung has finally launched the Galaxy Tab S3 in India at an event in Bangalore today. The tablet is priced at a Rs. 47,990 (approximately USD 745) and is up for grabs on both online and offline markets.
For the unaware, the company has unveiled the Galaxy Tab S3 back in February during MWC 2017 event. The tablet has already been made available in many other major countries and today it reached the India shores.
Samsung has joined hands with Reliance Jio to offer double data benefits (28GB + 28GB) to the customers who recharge with Jio’s Rs. 309 plans. It is also throwing in a free one-time screen replacement offer for users which is valid until July 31.

The Galaxy Tab S3 comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset under the hood. There’s 4GB of RAM and 32GB of on-board storage along with a microSD card slot to further expand the storage space if need be.
It comes with a 9.7-inch Super AMOLED with a resolution of 1536 x 2048 pixels. The tablet also offers support for HDR. Akin to the new Apple iPads, the tablet features a quad stereo speaker setup powered by AKG.
It runs the Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-the-box and is backed by a 6,000mAh battery.
