Samsung unveiled the 10.1-inch Galaxy Tab A back in May last year. And ever since, the tablet has been running Android 6.0 Marshmallow. It sure did receive the monthly security updates. But, the Nougat update was never rolled out. Well, that’s about to change soon.
The 10.1-inch Galaxy Tab A (2016) running Android Nougat was cleared by the Wi-Fi Alliance indicating that the rollout is imminent. Below is a list of all the model numbers that were spotted running Nougat.

For the uninitiated, the Galaxy Tab A features a 10.1-inch display, an octa-core 1.6GHz Exynos 7870 chipset, and 2GB of RAM paired with 16GB of native storage. For those of you who like to click images with the huge tablet, there’s an 8MP sensor at the back and a 2MP front-facing camera. The entire package is backed by a 7,300mAh battery.
