Samsung has just launched the Galaxy Tab A 7.0 tablet in India. According to the company, the Tab A 7.0 is your perfect companion for non-stop entertainment.

The Galaxy Tab A 7.0 is a low-end tablet that doesn’t have the wow factor of the Galaxy Tab S3, for instance, but at a price of INR 9,500, you will be getting what your money can buy. Featuring a refined slim design with rounded edges, the Tab A 7.0 is available in two color variants of White and Black. As you may have guessed, it has a 7-inch HD display screen that promises a superior viewing experience, according to Samsung.

Under the hood, the Galaxy Tab A 7.0 ships with a Quad Core chipset clocked at 1.5GHz and paired with 1.5GB RAM. The storage is a disappointing 8GB, but it can be expanded via a microSD card of up to 200GB. For the optics, you get a 5MP sensor on the back with autofocus and LED flash while the front gets a 2MP shooter. Keeping the Tab A 7.0 alive is a 4000mAh battery unit that Samsung claims will take you through 9 hours of video playback. The tablet also supports VoLTE, which is why Samsung and Jio are also running a promo.

For a 2-year Jio Plan of INR 299 with the Galaxy Tab A 7.0, you get a cashback of INR 2,000. However, you’ll receive the first INR 800 after making successive payments for the first 12 months and the remaining amount 12 months later, also after you’ve made the monthly payments. This money will be deposited in your JioMoney account.
