It was in the recent news that Samsung has been planning to release new budget tablets this year. The new tablets are dubbed Project Goya and carried model numbers SM-T116 and SM-T113. Now SM-T113 model has been made official by Samsung as the tablet just made an appearance with name Galaxy Tab 3 Lite Wi-Fi over at company’s official Netherlands website.
The Galaxy Tab 3 Lite Wi-Fi will be the most affordable phone out there bestowed with a 7-inch WSVGA display. Powering the device from within is a 1.3GHz dual-core processor.
There will be 1GB of RAM and 8GB of default storage capacity that can be expanded further via microSD card slot. On the camera front, the new tablet comes equipped with a 2MP rear camera and a VGA front-facing camera.
Other goodies of the Galaxy Tab 3 Lite Wi-Fi include Wi-Fi b/g/n for connectivity and a 3,600 mAh battery for powering it. The device runs on Android KitKat. There’s no exact information on this tablet’s processor as Samsung’s official website mentions both quad-core as well as dual-core processor.
