After being declared as environmental friendly devices in the USA and receiving 7 awards for its Ostrich Dream ad, Galaxy S8 series devices have achieved another remarkable feat.
Both the devices have been awarded the “Best smartphones” in the Asia Mobile Awards 2017 (‘the AMOs’) at the ongoing MWC Shanghai 2017. The award was accepted by Mr. Tong Wang the Executive Vice President of Samsung Electronics, China.
Previously known as Mobile Asia Expo, Mobile World Congress (MWC) Shanghai is the Asia’s best mobile industry event. The ongoing event, which is organized in coordination with the GSMA started yesterday i.e. 28 June and will go until 1 July.

Galaxy S8 and S8+ were considered as the unique Android smartphones based on numerous criteria such as design, user experience, performance, and innovation.
Galaxy S8 and S8+, which were launched in March this year at Samsung’s Unpacked 2017 event in New York feature infinite display, IRIS scanner, dual pixel camera, smart assistant Bixby, and are IP68 waterproof and dustproof.
To recall, S8 features 5.8-inches display while the S8+ measures 6.2-inches. Both the devices run on 4GB RAM and 64GB internal memory coupled with 4-bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC. There is a 6GB/128GB variant too, which is available in selected countries only, like India, Korea, and Hong Kong.
