The only difference between the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge is the dual side displays that curve till the back on the latter and a larger 2,600 mAh battery in it that is slightly higher in capacity than the 2,550 mAh battery in the Galaxy S6. The non-removable batteries support Ultra Power Saving Mode, wireless charging and fast charging that can charge the battery from zero to 50 percent in 30 minutes.
There is an improved fingerprint scanner on the Samsung smartphones that is touch based similar to Apple TouchID. The device packs in connectivity aspects such as LTE support, NFC, IR Blaster, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.1. Fueled by Android 5.0 Lollipop, the devices are topped with revamped TouchWiz UI that is claimed to be free of bloatware.
