With the Galaxy Note 2 having been officially unveiled at the IFA in Berlin yesterday, many were wondering how much the powerhouse of a phablet would cost, and now we have the pricing info available as well thanks to a price tag that popped up at the IFA. The 16GB Vodafone edition of the Galaxy Note 2 will cost €640 (~$800) off contract and €79.90 with a service plan. Not so cheap now, is it?
With the features and specifications the Galaxy Note 2 has, that pricing doesn’t sound that bad to be honest, but it’s still quite costly compared to other smartphones, most importantly the Galaxy S3, it’s smaller sibling. But again, that S Pen and the S Pen functionality Samsung has put in the Note 2 should be worth it, not to mention the gigantic 5.5″ screen and the 1.6 GHz quad-core Exynos processor.
What do you think? Still going to buy the awesome device or going to wait for the prices to come down? Let us know in the comments!
