Samsung unveiled the Galaxy S10 lineup of devices just a day ago and there was a lot of hype around the triple camera setup on the Galaxy S10 and the Galaxy S10 Plus.
To add to the ‘hype’ DxOMark has just published the preliminary rankings for the Galaxy S10+ which scores 109 and puts the Galaxy S10+ in a tie-up with the Mate 20 Pro as well as the P20 Pro which have dominated the DxOMark rankings for quite a while now.
DxOMark Top 5 Ranking
Samsung Galaxy S10+ – 109
Huawei Mate 20 Pro – 109
Huawei P20 Pro – 109
Xiaomi Mi 9 – 107
iPhone XS Max – 105
The Galaxy S10+ comes with three rear cameras; 12MP Primary wide-angle sensor, 16MP Ultra-wide-angle sensor, 12MP Telephoto sensor. On the front of the device, there are 2 cameras as well which means the Galaxy S10+ has a total of 5 cameras.
It seems the Galaxy S10+ does indeed have great cameras and the images shot on the device would be pretty great although every user has their own preference when it comes to images.
We’ll have to wait and see how the Galaxy S10 cameras stack up against the Pixel 3 cameras. Rest assured, you wouldn’t be disappointed with the Galaxy S10 cameras if you choose to purchase the device.
According to DxOMark, the Galaxy S10+ did especially well with exposure, color, and bokeh and have even stated that the Galaxy S10+ “shines with its dynamic range.”
