We’re previously told that the Samsung Galaxy S II would be launched in India in the month of April, however it was delayed as Samsung lately decided to put a 1.2 Ghz dual core processor instead of the previously reported 1Ghz dual core thing. Which indeed was a really good move. So thumbs up for that Sammy!
Now for a newer release date of SGS 2 in India — I went up to Samsung Mobile India Facebook fan page to ask them about their plans to launch SGS 2 in India, and they replied this:
we don’t have a confirmed date for the launch but it should be towards end of this month.
So it seems we’ll have to wait for a month more. Bleh! Anyway we’ve a comment box down here if you want to share your excitement.

Same here — SGS’s gonna rock, man! Waiting very very eagerly for the world’s best phone to arrive in India — fingers crossed for the exynos processor version with the super AMOLED plus display 😉

Yeah.. It is really not really looking good for a company like samsung don’t have definitive launch date. Only god knows what they are planning.
But guys am another die hard fan galaxy, At the end of May 2011, they will again repeat the same story asking us to wait till end of June 2011.
If HTC decides to get their Sensation S to india before SGS 2, then it is the end of the road for SGS II.
Your pain in understandable, many of us feel same but I think S2 is worth
the wait and would be a much better choice than Sensation, which is next
best to S2 in my opinion. Hope Sammy sticks to May End release
date……… 🙂
