Samsung just released the Android 7.0 Nougat beta program app to the Galaxy Store and will be shipping the OTA update soon to select users who participated in the beta program.

But if you’re someone like us, you’re probably concerned about root access on Samsung’s Nougat builds. While we’re pretty confident that the factory unlocked devices will get root easily as SuperSU already supports rooting Nougat on the devices it has been released so far.
Also, the Android 7.0 Nougat update from Samsung will probably come with newer bootloaders and won’t be downgrade-able to Marshmallow or other versions of Android. So keep this in mind before you install Nougat on your Samsung devices.
