We can say we have been waiting for the Galaxy J7 2017 to break the barrier and come out with its specsheet in full. After all, we’ve already seen it trespassing through FCC, and WiFi Alliance (two times), and what-not.

Today, our wish looks granted. And for those who looking up to Samsung for a mid-ranger, here’s what you can expect the Galaxy J7 2017 edition to pack in, which is scheduled to release in Asia, Europe and other parts of the world, including with US carriers AT&T, Verizon, etc. In fact, the model that has been leaked today is SM-J727A, which unless changes its naming scheme overnight, belongs clearly to AT&T Galaxy J7 (2017).

galaxy j7 2017 features

Thanks to its listing at GFXbench, we can be almost sure that Galaxy J7 2017 specs would include a 5.5″ HD display, probably an Super AMOLED one, with Exynos 7870 octa-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz beating underneath it to keep the run the show. It will be assisted by Mali-T830 GPU chip, in case you’re wondering.

There seems to be a 2GB RAM on board, while budget-level 16GB internal storage, but as Samsung would allow you to chip in a microSD card, there should not be any problem called ‘space shortage’.

Further up the Galaxy J7 specsheet, we have the rear camera installed with 8MP sensor, capable of shooting a FHD video of 1080p resolution, but without HDR support. The front cam houses a 5MP sensor, and can do a video chat in FHD too.

But the greatest feature of them all, to us, is that the device seems to be running Android 7.0 Nougat already, which is a good indication that it would sport the Nougat build right off the bat, and including the cool new features in Samsung’s Nougat update that we’re seeing the Galaxy S7 Nougat update.
