Galaxy J3 2017 to sport Snapdragon 430 processor, Geekbench listing says so

The next iteration of the Samsung Galaxy J3 was spotted on Geekbench today, listed as model no. SM-J327VPP. From the listing, we get to learn that the 2017 version of the budget smartphone Galaxy J3 is, it’s expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 430 processor and around 1.5GB of RAM.

In addition to that the Geekbench listing also shows us that the Galaxy J3 was running Android 7.0 Nougat, which is a welcome addition to see. Considering that there’s only a month left in Q1 of 2017 it would surely be embarrassing for Samsung to ship devices with Marshmallow on board.

The upcoming Galaxy J3 is expected to feature 1.5GB of RAM, a 5-inch HD display along with the Snapdragon 430 chipset. Put together, the smartphone should be decent performer with more emphasis on power efficiency over other things. The benchmarks listed above prove that it’s worth the mettle at the very least.

The same Snapdragon 430 processor is found to power the latest Android powered offering from Nokia too, the Nokia 6. So, there shouldn’t be any real world degradation in performance from day to day usage.
