Samsung Galaxy Core Prime Receives Android 5.0.2 Lollipop Update

Samsung is focused on rolling out the Android Lollipop update to its 2014 smartphones. The next device that is to get the Lollipop update is the Galaxy Core Prime with the model number SM-G360F. The units of this smartphone in Poland are stated to receive the firmware at first, and the other markets will follow in the near future.

The Android Lollipop update to the Galaxy Core Prime is available as an OTA update as well as via Kies. After the update, the device will run on Android 5.0.2 Lollipop with the latest TouchWiz UX featuring Material Design and other interface enhancements. The update to the Galaxy Core Prime will include updated Samsung apps and repository, connectivity, bug and security fixes and performance enhancements.

The update to the smartphone will be rolled out in a few days, but if you are not patient enough to wait for it, you can download the Poland ROM and try it. Do keep in mind that this will void the warranty of your smartphone. The update is likely to be rolled out in the other markets and other versions of the Galaxy Core Prime soon.
