Samsung has been faithfully rolling out security patches to a wide range of its devices. In the midst of all that hustle, the Galaxy C5 Pro is now receiving the APK1 update. In addition to that, the Google Play Store and Google Mobile Services finally made it to China for the C5 Pro and its siblings.
The latest update is being pushed out over the air as build C5010ZCU0APK1. If you haven’t already received the update notification, you can get your hands on the update by checking manually. Simply head over to Settings » About » System update.
Before you being to download the update, ensure that your smartphone has at least 50% charge. It would also be a good idea to back up your important data, just in case something happens to go wrong. Of course, the update is Marshmallow based, but Nougat shouldn’t be far off, as the C5 pro was only launched last month.
