During the launch of Samsung Galaxy A6s and Galaxy A9s phones in late October, the smartphone giant teased another upcoming phone, the Galaxy A8s, that is all set to be unveiled sometime in January next year. However, the recent image renders leaked on the German website, AllAboutSamsung, has left us drooling over the beauty of the device.
The Galaxy A series is known to cater to the mid-range buyers and this phone is not expected to be differently priced. However, the concept images that we’ve been feasted to assure us of a premium build quality along with an enviable design. The new kind of display on the phone is being touted as the Infinity-O display.
From the images, we can make out that the Infinity-O display runs almost edge to edge on the sides while there’s a slightly larger screenless frame at the bottom of the front panel. The biggest change, however, is the positioning of the camera toward the upper left corner, instead of the near-center positioning we’ve gotten used to seeing from Samsung.

It seems that Samsung wants to continue with its notch-less ways and has hence accommodated the front camera on the screen itself. Unfortunately, it cannot be hidden but the overall design might appear cute to a lot of people nonetheless.
On the back we see three cameras lined vertically toward the top left. Looking at the positioning, it may be assumed that the camera specs are the same that we saw on Galaxy A7. The tri-camera setup also includes an LED flash while an elliptical-shaped fingerprint scanner also rests at the back.
It is worth noting that these are just concept images and none of it has been circulated or endorsed by Samsung. So, consume these delectable photos with an extra grain of salt. However, these renders cannot be totally disregarded either since we’ve seen in the past how accurate they can be at times.
