Samsung’s Galaxy A 2017 series handsets which include the Galaxy A7, A5, and the A3 are receiving a new software update.
Arriving with the build A720FXXU1AQF2, A520FXXU2AQF3, and A320FXXU2AQF2a for the Galaxy A7, Galaxy A5, Galaxy A3 2017 variants respectively, the update installs the June security patch on these handsets.
As is the case with any security patch, expect the update to carry a bunch of bug fixes as well as system improvements with it.
Currently, the update is being rolled over-the-air (OTA). So, be a little patient until it reaches your device. However, if you want to check for the update manually, you might want to head to Settings, About Device, and then hit on the Software Updates button.

Although the update shouldn’t erase any of your data on the smartphone, it is advisable to backup your personal data before downloading the update. Also, while you are at it, make sure you are hooked to a Wi-Fi network to avoid unnecessary data charges.
And finally, charge your device before installing the update. You sure don’t want your device to shut down while you are in the middle of the installation process.
