Last month, we told you that Samsung has already started working on the Galaxy A3, A5, and A7 2018 variants. But, back then, there was no word on the specs of any of these phones.

And well, guess, who paid a visit to GFXBench today? It’s the Galaxy A7 2018! Yes, that’s right, the Galaxy A7 2018 was spotted on GFXBench revealing some of the key specs of the yet-to-be-announced handset.

Bearing the model number SM-A730x (the A7 2017’s model number was SM-A720x), the Galaxy A7 2018 will feature 4GB of RAM which comes as an improvement over its predecessor (which btw has 3GB of RAM). The device, as per the listing, will feature at least 32GB of storage.

At the heart of the device will be an octa-core SoC (Exynos probably) clocked at 2.21GHz. Again, this is another upgrade over the Galaxy A7 2017 variant which is powered by an octa-core 1.8GHz Exynos 7880 SoC.

The camera department, however, remains untouched in comparison. That is, there will be a 16MP camera on both front and back as seen on the current generation A7.

The listing shows that the Galaxy A7 2018 is currently on Android 7.1.1 Nougat.
