Samsung has new updates for the Galaxy A7 2017 and Galaxy Tab S2 VE. These two are receiving an update that installs the latest Android security patches, fixes an unknown number of bugs and improves general system stability and performance.
The updates are rolling out over the air, where the Galaxy A7 2017 is receiving software version A720FXXU3BRD3 while those on the Galaxy Tab S2 VE are receiving software version T813XXU2BRC3. As usual with OTA updates, you’ll have to wait for a few days before you get the notification to download the new software, but if you can’t wait, try forcing the update via Settings >Software update > Download updates manually.
Samsung is also expected to roll out Android Oreo to the Galaxy A7 2017 in the coming days following the release of the OS to the Galaxy A5 2017 and A3 2017.
