As anticipated, Samsung has started rolling out the Android Nougat update to Galaxy A5 2016 units. This was expected as last month a Nougat powered Galaxy A5 2016 cleared WiFi Alliance certification along with Galaxy A7 2016.

The new firmware update arrives as build number A510FXXU4CQDK to Samsung Galaxy A5 2016 and bumps up the OS to Android 7.0 Nougat from Android Marshmallow. The update is currently being rolled out in Russia and we expect it to reach out to other regions soon.
