The wait will soon be over! Samsung’s next generation Exynos SoC is likely to be officially announced towards the end of this month. And to be more precise, on January 28th.

A lot has been leaked about the company’s own Exynos 8895 chipset, so much so that we already know its detailed specs as per previous leaks.

The chipset may arrive in two variants – Exynos 8895M and Exynos 8895V. The difference between the two will be the Mongoose M2 core clock speed and the GPU versions. The 8895M has the Mongoose M2 chip clocked at 2.5GHz, while the 8895V has it at 2.3GHz only.

The official release of Exynos 8895 this month is a clear indication that Samsung plans to launch Galaxy S8 on March 29 with the new chipset under the hood.
