Singapore gets Samsung Galaxy Beam

Samsung Beam Singapore Launch

The only android phone with a built in projector, the Samsung galaxy beam, is NOW ON SALE in Singapore. Samsung’s actually getting red hot these days, launching one device after another — all of them being android based phones, mind you! — and Singapore is only a beginning for a worldwide launch of Beam.

We’ve already seen Galaxy S sets of Samsung making lot of buzz in US, launching with AT&T as Samsung Captivate and with T-Mobile as Samsung Vibrant. We are yet to see Verizon’s launch of the phone in and as Samsung Fascinate and the 4G cum QWERTY version with Sprint in the form of Samsung EPIC.

Back to Beam, we now know that it features a 720 Mhz Texas OMAP processor rather than the rumored 800 Mhz processor. The same processor in its 600 Mhz version was featured in notorious Motorola Droid and is also found in Motorola’s Droid X and Droid 2, but with 1Ghz processing power.

So, all you regular Powerpoint guys who deal way too much with presentations to make your boss happy, here is your best bet in Android phones. The 3.7 inch Super AMOLED screen with 16 GB of internal storage and 8 Megapixel Camera make it decent high-end mobile phone for presentations and Fun.

  1. The object is in point of fact useful, I only recently got a Samsung Intercept thru Sprint. That is my third attempt at looking to upgrade a slightly outdated phone. I am hopeful approximately this telephone because it mounted a large number of the problems that I skilled with the Moment. Ahead of I make any major changes to the telephone, I want to at least be sure that I will be able to keep it for more than every week, and so far, it’s been going great =)
