Rumor: Samsung Galaxy S6, S6 Edge and LG G4 could feature dual camera on the back

A lot has already been leaked of the Samsung Galaxy S6 and its Edge variant, but today’s leak from Korea suggests something entirely new. The Korean media has it that flagship devices from Samsung and LG for the year 2015 may feature dual camera setup on the back, like the one we saw in HTC One M8 from 2014.

By HTC standards, in a dual camera setup, one camera of the device is dedicated to measure depth of field to capture a picture like DSLR camera’s does, plus also enable a host of other effects to be pre-processed. The HTC One M8 was the first device to feature this tech in a smartphone. Now, Samsung and LG, both are rumored to be working this technology into their upcoming flagship devices.

However, for the Galaxy S6, we’ve already seen a lot of leaks and renders (from case makers) for the device and none of the them have hinted at dual-camera setup on the back of the device. This could mean two things: either the leaks so far have been shamefully wrong, or, this rumor from Korea is a hoax.
