How to Root ZTE Axon A1R

Getting root on the less popular Android devices could be trickier since much support is not available from the community for these devices. But thanks to root services like KingRoot, rooting the lesser known devices is a breeze.

KingRoot is a rooting software that is available as both an App for your device and a PC software. In most cases, KingRoot app does the job to root your device, however, if that doesn’t work, you can always use the KingRoot PC software to get your device rooted.

You can try the KingRoot Android app first to get your ZTE Axon A1R rooted. However, if that doesn’t work, switch over to a PC and use KingRoot’s PC software first to root your device.

How to Root ZTE Axon A1R with KingRoot Android App

  1. Download and install the kingroot .apk file from the link above.
    └ If you get a prompt to “Allow Google to regularly check device activity for security problems..”, make sure you DECLINE it.
  2. Once installed, open Kingroot app and press the “Start root” button to begin the rooting process.
  3. During the process you might repeated warnings by Google to check device activity, DECLINE it like you previously did in Step 1.
  4. If the process finishes successfully, then congratulations! You’re rooted.
    └ To verify root access, download the root checker app Play Store.

How to Root ZTE Axon A1R with KingRoot PC

Download Kingroot PC

  1. Install Kingroot PC software on your PC.
  2. Run/open Kingroot on your PC.
  3. Connect your Android device with a USB cable to the PC. Kingroot will automatically scan your device and adapt to it.
  4. Click Try Root button and the rooting process will begin.
